Alternative Medicine?
There are many different schools of thought about medicine.
Generally speaking, our medical professionals, licensed medical doctors, do a pretty good job. But
not always.
Basically, M.D.s today are
educated to be expert technicians on the repair and readjustment of human bodies. In short, they
are trained in "breakdown" maintenance.
Certainly we owners of human bodies want to have them repaired if
they break down. But most of us are even more interested in "preventive maintenance", maintaining
our bodies so they do not break down in the first place.
Most Medical Doctors know very little about that kind of
preventive medicine, for two reasons. The first is training; they were not trained in that
specialty. The second is economic; people tend to go to see their doctors when they are sick, not
when they are well. There is less demand, less urgency for medical assistance.
Yet many things that people are afflicted with today are almost
totally preventable by diet and lifestyle choices made beforehand, sometimes years
beforehand.
Here's a personal story which illustrates that
point. 30 years ago I had a checkup. My
bloodpressure was taken and it was 140 over 95. I was diagnosed as borderline hypertensive and
given a prescription for beta blockers to lower my bloodpressure.
I got my prescriptions refilled, took the medication for more than
20 years. During that time I read some things that caused me to question what I was doing. While
not in the medical professions, I had a background in chemistry and chemical engineering and was
not totally unschooled in this area.
I had gotten myself a home BP monitor/measuring device (both my
father and grandfather had died of heart attacks; I knew
that I had a genetic predisposition and should watch out).
Some mornings my BP was high, some lower. I asked myself why, and
started to experiment, on my own. I read what experts in prevention were saying. I read extensively
about alternative medicine.
After a bit I was able to lower the amounts of mediction I was
taking, while still getting the same results. This progressed to the point where I finally was able
to stop the medication completely!
I stopped all medication 8 years ago. Today, my current 10-day moving
average blood pressure (I still check it almost every
morning before I get up) is 95.5/60.9 and my pulse rate is 50.0. I am healthy and have no problem
about high blood pressure.
That is a true, personal story. While my problem was high blood pressure, perhaps yours is eczema. Modern
medicine seems unable to do very much about eczema, but students of alternative medicine have made
great strides in treating it and dealing with it.
They have been able to virtually cure eczema by using alternative
medicine methods. Have a look at what is happening in the area of curing and dealing with
eczema today by visiting here.
You can cure yourself and live as I do, free of drugs or
medication and completely cured and healthy!
